I was gonna counter this with the fact she gave the boys emotional advice on their love lives, but even then she did it in a very cold, logical way. “Cho is feeling x because y therefore you should have done z.”

yeah i mean i love the movies as much as the next nostalgia fan but MAN the fact that they created this image of angelic “always right, always perfect, always justified” Hermione by placing her on a pedestal was one of the biggest letdowns.
